ICL seeks a psychiatric nurse practitioner for ICL's Two Bridges Shelter and Tillary Street Women's Shelter to provide recovery-oriented psychiatric evaluation, medication management and clinical leadership for the people we serve.
ICL is an award-winning not-for-profit human services agency providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, integrated, and person-centered ("TRIP") care via supportive and transitional housing, counseling with individualized therapies, rehabilitation, and other support services for adults, veterans, children, and families diagnosed with serious mental illness, substance abuse, or developmental disabilities throughout New York City. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner program, and currently licensed in New York State as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Current DEA certification. ANCC certification is an asset. Two years experience with persons with co-occurring health/mental illness and HIV/AIDS preferred. Must be eligible for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs May be required to possess a valid NYS driving license and a clear driving record. Continued employment is based on the ability to maintain professional licensure and accreditation, and participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
