Overview

Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Vice President, Information Security’s role is to manage the daily operation of ICL information security program, perform information security risk assessment, and investigating any security incidence and preaches.  

Responsibilities

  1. Managing the daily operation of ICL information security
  2. Performing IT security risk assessments and reporting on ways to minimize threats
  3. Monitoring security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems
  4. Tracking latest IT security innovations and keeping abreast of latest cyber security technologies
  5. Ensuring business continuity from network, telecom, and infrastructure security point of views
  6. Communicating effectively about IT security threats
  7. Implementing an effective process for the reporting of security incidents
  8. Reporting and Investigation of security breaches
  9. Developing methods to handle security incidents and trigger investigations
  10. Managing the IT security team, security experts and advisors
  11. Running security audits and risk assessments
  12. Delivering new security technology approaches and implementing next generation solutions
  13. Devising strategies and implementing IT solutions to minimize the risk of cyber-attacks
  14. Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program
  15. Develop and enhance an information security management framework
  16. Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns
  17. Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of information security technology and systems
  18. Other job duties that are assigned.

Qualifications

BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field, plus

  • 10 years’ experience as an information security expert, including at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • A proven record of dealing with complex projects and meeting conflicting demands
