Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Application Developer’s role is to develop, evolve, and support ICL’s SharePoint-based Intranet and other in-house developed Windows-based application.


  1. Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  2. Setting tasks and development goals.
  3. Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
  4. Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
  5. Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
  6. Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, flows, web parts, and application technologies.
  7. Testing and debugging code.
  8. Version control and protect source code.
  9. Document software code and application features and deployment processes.
  10. Reviewing website interface and software stability.
  11. Troubleshooting software issues.
  12. Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  13. Providing systems training to staff and customers.
  14. Other job duties that are assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ development experience with SharePoint
  • Knowledge of trends in computer technology relating to secure coding. Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
  • High-level coding skills.
  • Ability to solve complex software issues.
  • Ability to project manage.
