In collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, the Vocational and Activity Specialist provides a range of educational, prevocational, vocational and activity services to help the client develop and strengthen social and vocational rehabilitation skills with the goal of community integration for the client.
VOCATIONAL SPECIALIST DUTIES
ACTIVITIES SPECIALIST DUTIES:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorder.
Preferred education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, and experience as a job coach, employment specialist, wellness coach, or related.
