Overview

Primary responsibility for coordination of grant proposals to government, foundations and other grant-making entities; assign, assist and monitor consultants; managing grant portfolio; grant writing; seeking new grant opportunities.

Responsibilities

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Convene planning meetings with program, fiscal, and executive staff to review funding opportunities and specific grant opportunities.
  • Conduct research and assemble data and reference materials to support proposal development.
  • Work collaboratively with program and budget staff to develop proposal content including proposed program structure, staffing, clinical models and budgets.
  • Manage agreements and progress for Independent Contractors hired as needed to write proposals.
  • Monitor proposals through completion ensuring they respond to the issuing body’s goals, outline, formatting requirements, and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate on-time submission of proposals.
  • Track status, focus, and trends in public and private funding opportunity submissions on ongoing basis.
  • Represent ICL at pre-proposal bidders conferences and training sessions sponsored by government agencies
  • Seek out, research, and prepare proposals for government, foundations and corporate philanthropies.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • BA required
  • Minimum five years related work experience
  • Experience with Salesforce, MS Word & Excel

  •  

 

  • Proven track record obtaining grants
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with staff and stakeholders at all levels
