  • Overview

    This position provides HR support to managers and employees at the ICL and Affiliates. This includes providing coaching and direction regarding policies, recruitment, and other HR initiatives.


    • Act as liaison to all levels of management to resolve human resources issues, including full cycle recruitment and on-boarding.
    •  Responsible for coordinating recruitment and hiring process for all staffing including opening/closing requisitions, placing ads, relevant documentation and correspondence, communicating with finance for all compensation issues and approvals, screening applications, arranging interviews, contacting applicants and maintaining all relevant documentation and correspondence.
    •  Act as liaison between HR, management and employees regarding HR policies/procedures.
    •  Handle general human resources queries related to recruitment and onboarding.
    •  Verify all Professional Licenses on-line, request updated Licenses from new hires. 
    • Reviews new hire files to ensure completeness of files. HR Generalist gathers any information that is missing and/or incomplete items to ensure that the file is complete.  A new hires file should be complete within 3 months from the date they start working.
    • Attend job fairs and job recruiting events.
    • Generates purchase orders for job postings bills, temp agencies bills, job fair fees and/or other related recruitment expenses.
    • Provides competitive market research and prepares pay studies to help establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
    • Participate in special projects as required.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


    Associates Degree plus three (3) years of Human Resources experience or administrative experience ; or Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of above experience; or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related field and some experience in HR. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
