    JOB SUMMARY: The Recruitment Assistant assists with the recruitment process of staff for the various ICL programs. TheRecruitment Assistant works closely with the Recruiter to identify and forward qualified candidates to the various programs throughout the agency. Functions as the back up Recruiter in the absence of that individual. 

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL TASKS:

    1. Responsible for providing support to the HR generalist in conducting background checks as part of the on-boarding process
    2. Input information into ICIMS to start the background check (consists of Sterling background check form, Justice Center form, Justice Center, SCR, Code of Conduct  i-forms
    1. Schedule candidates for fingerprinting or drug testing
    2. Collect and enter candidates information into the State Child registry
    3. Enter candidate employment and education into the Sterling website.
    4. Collect results of PPD and physicals
    5. Complete PICL background checks
    1. Obtain information for I-9 and enter into E-Verify
    2. Provide updates to Director of Recruitment and regular interface with HR Generalist to monitor status
    3. Schedules new hires for onboarding and input information into iCIMS. Reviews new hire files to ensure completeness of files. 
    4. Performs related duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    HS Graduate or equivalent 2 year experience or Associates degree and 1 year experienced in the Human Resources field. Proficient in MS word and Ms Excel. Knowledge of ADP or comparable HRIS.
