  • Overview

    The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing biweekly payroll for all legal entities and performs all Payroll-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Payroll Coordinator. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Payroll Processing, Garnishments, Processing Hew Hires, Reporting, Training, Payroll audits, day-to-day payroll functions, and supporting employee requests.


    1. Responsible of the complete task of printing, reviewing, editing and processing all payroll related data using Enterprise HR V 5 and E-Times systems. Transmits biweekly payroll to ADP, reviews payroll preview, sets up for a new payroll cycle, downloads reports from the ADP server.
    2. Processes New Hires in Enterprise HR V5, imports data into Enterprise E-time.
    3. Processes garnishments for all subsidiaries in Enterprise HR V5, maintains files, and prepares check requests as needed. With the Payroll Coordinator, acts as liaison with ADP for any for problem resolution and error correction.
    4. Conducts training classes for new employees and supervisors on the subject of timekeeping and payroll procedures.
    5. Manages employee accrual accounts making necessary adjustments as needed.
    6. Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings as needed.
    7. Resolves all payroll discrepancies, serves as backup to the Payroll Coordinator in all areas of Payroll.
    8. Ad Hoc Reporting as needed
    9. Performs related duties as assigned;
    10. Functions as back-up to Payroll Coordinator in his/her absence.


    Associate’s degree plus 2 year of payroll related experience; Knowledge of ADP or comparable HRIS, Enterprise E-time or comparable timekeeping system
