  • Overview

    Under the general supervision of the Real Property Leasing Administration Supervisor assist in the search and location of apartments; Negotiate leases, manage tracking systems of apartment, repairs, expired and new leases, perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as typing correspondence, reports, purchase orders, etc. scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.

    Responsibilities

    1. Locations new apartments and evaluates if apartment meet ICL guidelines and standards.
    2. Establish relationships with new brokers and/or landlords
    3. Working with the Program and Real Property team, facilitate completion of lease process either manually or electronically as instructed
    4. Show program available apartment for approval of the lease
    5. Inspect apartments for completion before delivering checks to the landlord/broker to obtain keys
    6.  Review new leases or renewals once received to ensure all necessary information is complete
    7. Monitor expired lease rent schedule to ensure renewals are received 60 – 90 days prior to expiration.
    8.  Maintains up-to-date, new and renewal leases, consumer’s, landlord addresses and information.
    9. Responsible for overall office management, maintains supply of all forms and updates in a timely manner.
    10. Maintain up to date census data, ensure new admits and discharges are processed in a timely manner.
    11. Provides reception services; receives phone calls and visitors with courtesy and professionalism direct incoming and outgoing calls and faxes in a timely and accurate manner.
    12. Other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Qualifications

    High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 4 years administrative experience, in a real estate or property management office. Must be able to satisfactority use computer word processing equipment and programs and type letters, reports forms and other documents. BA plus one (1) year or Associates plus two (2) years above experience.
