    About ICL: For more than 30 years, ICL has been helping adults, children and families of all backgrounds live with serious mental illness, substance abuse or developmental disabilities. Every year, some 10,000 New Yorkers receive the help they need at ICL’s residential and community programs across the five boroughs. In more than 100 housing and community support programs, ICL’s innovative treatment services address physical and behavioral health to serve the complexities of each person’s life situation.

    About the location

    Our East New York Health Hub is a state-of-the-art health care facility located at 2581 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn on the border of East New York and Brownsville.   The Hub is 40,000 square foot building in the center of the community offering a unique model of integrated primary & mental health care with supportive resources for families and children. It is home to Article 31 Clinics, outreach teams, Family Resource Center, and several other medical and behavioral health programs.

    Responsibilities

    About this position:

    The Building Operations Administrator will report to the ICL Deputy Chief Operating Officer and will provide oversight and administrative support to the programs housed in the Hub. This includes coordination of all support personnel, space and equipment allocation and scheduling, ensuring adequate equipment and supplies, and special projects as assigned.  This role will provide critical leadership and direction to the teams operating from the East New York Hub.

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications we are looking for:

    • Bachelors required plus at least five years of facility, site or real estate property management experience required. Master’s degree or project management certification preferred.
    • administrative excellence and the ability to act with diplomacy, tact, and ethics with diverse staff and persons in recovery from serious mental illness and/or substance abuse in a community-based setting
    • Outstanding customer service, organizational skills
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
